Hello! Hello! What a wonderful site you have – much continued success! I am a designer who lived in Budapest for 18 months and worked with a small women’s cooperative there to learn the traditional felt applique technique. We continue our work together with a fabulous holiday line in particular. My husband and I were also lucky enough to travel throughout Romania. I fell in love with Roma embroidery and would love to bring it to the US alongside the felt offerings. I have a pair of pillows that I purchased in Budapest (but they are Transylvanian, I’m confident) and would be glad to send photos of the white and white embroidery on white linen. I am very much hoping to connect with a cooperative and would be grateful if you have a resource you could share! Thanks very much, Jennifer
